Demolition kick-starts Team recruitment drive.

Team Limited's development of 419 homes in Sutton Wharf Bow started with a bang as the existing buildings on the site were demolished early last month. With the site being prepared for construction, Team have begun the recruitment drive to find the workforce necessary to build their first major project.

Based at their production plant in Wyke Rd (by the River Lea opposite the proposed Olympic Stadium), over 100 people will learn the skills necessary to create buildings using the latest methods of construction. Team aim to recruit over 70 per cent of its workforce from the local community, and are working with Skillsmatch, the local government employment agency, to make this a reality.

Team Limited will also provide training for many positions - giving unskilled workers who have previously been denied access to the jobs market a fresh start.
